Inspiration at my desk

I moved a few things around recently and just put these on my desk temporarily while re-arranging another spot..

I’ve left them there because I love the different shapes, textures, lines and finishes of white! (And that burst of yellow, a Christmas gift from MIL.)

The creamy whites and the striking yellows make a great vignette. I love gathering similar tints of the same shade and then injecting a surprise colour in. My MIL gave that yellow bowl and lid to me for Christmas and I love it. Perfect to store paperclips, nuts and candy.

The Woman behind the Blog

Welcome to my blog! It’s such a pleasure having you here.

What are you inspired by? I am inspired by beautiful and bright interiors, fabric, furniture, pinks, yellows, greens, chairs, china, trees, chocolate, peonies, hydrangeas, cherry blossoms, roses and rhubarb with cream.

Friends and family call me drey (pronounced 'dree'... short for Audrey) and I can often be found zipping through op-shops and vintage stores in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia.
