Sarah Richardson’s inspirational nursery

Sarah Richardson's Nursery

My favourite designer, Sarah Richardson recently had a baby (2006) and created a fun fun fun nursery for her little girl. It’s such a fun nursery with fun fabrics, fun patterns, fun furniture and accessories. I love the giraffe lamp (pictured) below.

I love that the nursery isn’t the pastelly mix of pinks and yellows, and baby blues and pale greens. While I don’t know if an all black room and dark reds would be suitable for a baby, cheery, bright colours with plenty of white is so stimulating, so fun and fresh. While I’ve learnt to love pinks in its most bold tones, I frequently cringe at seeing a baby pink nursery!

It does have a head – just not in this photo. The head is actually the lamp finial. Genius! – Sil
