For the love of a sleigh!

My bedroom with sleigh bed moodboard

We’re talking not about snow sleighs and reindeers, but about my sleigh bed! When husband and I got married, we got what was then to our finances an expensive sleigh bed. Actually the splurge was the supercomfy lux mattress. Anyways. It’s still in great condition so we’re not replacing it anytime soon. So I have to work around a sleigh bed.

I guess my design sensibilities back then STILL didn’t allow me to buy suites (thank God)… so now I’m finally trying to un-mishmash our bedroom furniture… we have unmatching bedside tables, cupboards… everything. So allow me the pleasure of sharing with you my bedroom dream moodboard*.

Looks like you’ve got a thing for mirrored furniture (my fav!) And having everything not match makes for a more interesting space. I hate suites. BORING.

I love all of it. I love the PINK!!! I love mirrored furniture,….it seems to be pricey everywhere,..that is why I do not own any mirrored furniture. :( You have great ideas!

I have a matching suite and I hate it! I can’t wait to get rid of some of it and mix and match. I love that red lamp.
