Chair done!

My cane chair after spray painted and cushion made

You’ll remember my office chair and the long process to get it redone. Some of you mentioned the original looked way too shabby to be chic.

Shabby:

The Inspiration:

Process:

1. A quick wipe with a fine grit sandpaper.
2. Spray painted the entire chair gloss black.
3. Beg mother in law to sew up a chair pad using the funky black and white stripey fabric I thrifted a few weeks ago.

Chic:

Thanks to Mum In Law for slaving over the cushion pad for 4 hours!

hi jen! thanks for leaving comment! i love my chair… but it’s rather weak and old and been through enough hard knocks. it won’t last for much longer…. maybe another 1-2 years if that!but i got more plans for its afterlife :) what does yours look like!???

I think the cane should be white. That way the zebra print seat would be more balanced.Besides my knowitallism totally nice chair!
