A Girl’s Gotta Have Them

My red and orange furry shoes

On Saturday, we took my parents-in-law to Mount Dandenong, Victoria for a leisurely weekend. We had Devonshire Tea at Miss Marples, shopped around… and then I rushed to the little vintage shop across the road to perve at the red and orange shoes I saw here last time. They were $180 only two months ago. But on Saturday they were on specials for $25. And at that price, I grabbed them… even though husband detested them (seriously).

Well, someone‘s allowed platform shoes… so I am allowed these pair of dreams.

uh oh, I’m not even going to click on that “someone” link. What a bargain, fun shoes are a must, esp at that price. I have no idea about the Polly Pocket wardrobe. Is it large enough to hold anything? I love to use differrent stuff for storage. Show us your storage sometime! Hannah is adorable, by the way.

The Woman behind the Blog

Welcome to my blog! It’s such a pleasure having you here.

What are you inspired by? I am inspired by beautiful and bright interiors, fabric, furniture, pinks, yellows, greens, chairs, china, trees, chocolate, peonies, hydrangeas, cherry blossoms, roses and rhubarb with cream.

Friends and family call me drey (pronounced 'dree'... short for Audrey) and I can often be found zipping through op-shops and vintage stores in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia.
