Japan Treehouse Restaurant

A treehouse in Okinawa, Japan

A treehouse restaurant in Okinawa, Japan! I spent a few minutes peering at the tree, to ascertain if it’s a real tree or not. Looks fabricated…. but if it’s real, the size of the tree is more impressive than the “treehouse”! For this, I might go visit Japan!

I’m not so sure if I’d really like it. I’ve always wanted a treehouse but with my fear of heights, I’m not sure if I’m game to allow myself up a flimsy ladder to a platform of wooden slats in a tree… much less allow other friends, albeit little, the same! I’d be terrified the whole thing collapses!

The Woman behind the Blog

Welcome to my blog! It’s such a pleasure having you here.

What are you inspired by? I am inspired by beautiful and bright interiors, fabric, furniture, pinks, yellows, greens, chairs, china, trees, chocolate, peonies, hydrangeas, cherry blossoms, roses and rhubarb with cream.

Friends and family call me drey (pronounced 'dree'... short for Audrey) and I can often be found zipping through op-shops and vintage stores in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia.
