Decisions decisions decisions

My painted canvas against the wall painted Haymes Paint Toms Run

We have a bright pinky red wall waiting for some art. I have to make decisions… What do you think?

This is the wall:

I LOVE the shade of pinky red, Haymes Paint Tom Run. I wanted a brilliant red, but with a tinge of fun. More on the whole process in another blog.

My dilemma is the choice of art… I can’t decide… but I want only one, large, awesome artwork. Large. Like 80x60cm.

For weeks now I’d pictured one of these vintage travel art posters there:

But in the spirit of being thrifty and sensible-use-of-pocket-money, I thought perhaps I should use what I already have. Like the large, long canvas I made a few homes/houses ago:

The colours, scale and design didn’t feel right for this space.

Whilst juggling around a few ideas, I then thought of enlarging something that I loved in my childhood since this space is used every night by all four of us, brushing teeth and washing faces before sleep. Because I’m that kind of crazy.

Like a giant Archie comic cover.

In that case I’d go with the Australia one- classic, classy and patriotic:)
