Christmas tags this year

My Christmas tags this year 2007

As much as I dislike the whole commercialisation (a word?) of Christmas, I do admit, receiving thoughtful (and wanted) gifts is nice and secretly looked forward to. After spending ridiculous amounts of time and money looking for thoughtful and unusual gifts for family members, attaching store-bought Christmas gift tags is, in my opinion, a waste of money, since creating beautiful ones are so simple.

(As some of you might know, I run an events stationery business and have heaps of leftover paper of all patterns, finishes and colour.) Here’s a shot of some of this year’s tags.

[One of my favourite recent buys is the McGill Bird punch, which I love, love, love.]

your work is wonderful. I really love graphic design also. Do you scrapbook? I made my own wedding invites, I will try to post a picture of them soon. I would love for you to see it. :) I got my prints by the way, thank you thank you. I already have them framed, and hope to hang them soon. I will also post about them!!!!! You are so sweet. Its so neat to have a piece of Jo’s work in my home, and to have gotten it from you!!!!

Welcome to my blog! It’s such a pleasure having you here.

What are you inspired by? I am inspired by beautiful and bright interiors, fabric, furniture, pinks, yellows, greens, chairs, china, trees, chocolate, peonies, hydrangeas, cherry blossoms, roses and rhubarb with cream.

Friends and family call me drey (pronounced 'dree'... short for Audrey) and I can often be found zipping through op-shops and vintage stores in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia.
